Tata Sky Broadband 100 Mbps Speed, Plans for 6 Months - Here's Everything You Need to Know
Tata Sky recently updated its broadband systems in the cities where it operates. DTH and Internet Service Provider (ISP) have also reduced the number of cities in which they operate. In the cities where Tata Sky Broadband operates, it offers speeds of up to 300 Mbps, but the best-selling system under its portfolio is the 100 Mbps system.
Tata Sky, on its website, has called the 100 Mbps long-term plan the best-selling option. The best part of choosing Tata Sky's broadband systems is long-term options. All programs from Tata Sky Broadband come in one month, three months, six months and 12 months. Tata Sky’s 100 Mbps system is available in almost every city where the ISP provides services. Tata Sky says programs with a speed of more than 200 Mbps are currently only available in selected cities, which is also the case. So in all cities, the 100 Mbps system from Tata Sky is preferred by many. To attract new customers, Tata Sky offers the same 100 Mbps system for several types.
Price
If a customer chooses the Tata Sky Broadband 100 Mbps program for one month, it costs Rs 950. However, the plan comes with three long-term options - three months worth Rs 2,700, six months sold for Rs 4,500 and 12 months cost Rs 8,400. As you can see, the price of the program decreases as you increase the subscription time. For three-month registration, the ISP offers a discount of Rs 150 and six months Rs 1,200. Finally, customers can receive a discount of Rs 3,000 from Tata Sky by opting for a 12-month package.
The same discount offer also applies to other Tata Sky Broadband programs. For example, a 200 Mbps system from Tata Sky is available for Rs 1,150 per month, however, customers can get a discount of up to Rs 3,600. The 12-month 200 Mbps program from Tata Sky Broadband costs Rs 10,200, with a total discount of Rs 3,600.
Note that the prices mentioned above do not include taxes and that there will be an additional 18% GST application for all subscription packages.
Installation
The users will not have to pay any extra charges for installation services since the Wifi router will be provided for free. Unlike most of the ISPs, users will get a free landline service and there will be no requirement to pay any security deposit. Seems like Tata Sky has taken an extra effort to make installation convenient for its users.
